Haydeh Ayyazi is an outsider artist. She started drawing when she was 6 years old. Ayyazi is inspired by her childhood memories and also by current events, especially political and all the news that influence the daily life of Iranian citizens. She practiced calligraphy a lot in her youth and it often appears in her works. We can indeed see in her drawings made with markers, sentences or words in Persian, they are sometimes poetry of her son or quite simply words which spontaneously come to her mind when she draws. Because yes, even if the result is neat, Ayyazi is an art brut improviser.
