Bio:

Born in 1981 in Tehran where he continues to live and work, Azarakhsh Farahani is a painter and illustrator but he is also known in Iran as a musician (notably in the group Koochneshin) and actor in several films. Coming from current events as much as from his dreams, the characters that populate his paintings are drawn with felt pens in a vast palette of colours that reinforce the surrealist and symbolic aspect of his work.
